To be sure, to quote one of my favorite musicians, in challenging times such as these, despair is a reasonable response, but hope is unreasonable, and love is even greater than that. Let’s take refuge in this and recommit ourselves to meet the challenges before us. Texas Floods: How to Help Of utmost importance  is how to help those suffering from the brutal floods in Central Texas. According to the Texas Tribune, local groups are prioritizing monetary donations and compiling lists of volunteers as those become necessary. The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund has been set up to help those impacted by the floods.  From the Tribune: “The fund was created by The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a 501(c)(3) charity, that will be directing money to “vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance,” according to  it...
