Stuff to do: June 16 edition

A little reminder from Saturday, June 14: No Kings Day

I hope everyone had a chance to participate in No Kings Day. While protests were peaceful, it was the LAPD disturbing the peace in the City of Angels and two politically motivated assassinations were carried out on lawmakers in Minnesota.

Yes, we organize, we march, write letters, sign petitions, call our representatives, and do whatever we can to keep democracy from bleeding out from the wounds inflicted on her by the militant MAGA movement in government and by its minions among us.

After a day like Saturday, the inevitable next question should be “what next?” For some of us, we’re pretty clear about what to do next. I have me plans and I’m sure you have yours, but both Women’s March and Indivisible are having online debriefs and looks ahead.

Indivisible is hosting a What’s Next webinar this evening, so sadly, it’s too late for inclusion here but I have circulated the details on social media, so hopefully that will have some effect.

In the main, the following organizations and sites have extensive resources. I suggest checking one or more out.
